Blaze Blue By You to Pining Purple

Blaze Blue by You to Pining Purple [outdoors with sunlight]

A few days ago, I posted on my NOTD, which included Blaze Blue By You to Pining Purple. This post is to show you this polish on its own properly, without the additional glitter, which hides some of its true colours.

I was lucky the sun was out in full force when I swatched this, and the colour change was really obvious. My camera also cooperated with the purple, so no digital colour adjustment was needed.

Blaze Blue By You (“bayou”?) to Pining Purple goes from a light periwinkle blue to a lavender purple. It has a frosty finish, as mentioned previously.

Here’s a look at the bottle, both indoors and outdoors. The strong midday sun changed the polish in the bottle a lot more than my shots for the other Blaze colours.

A little mishap occurred in the midst of photographing the swatch. I was rushing to catch the elusive sun, so I took the outdoors photos first. Unfortunately, I knocked my ring finger against something and mucked the polish up a bit before I could take the indoors shots. To be consistent, the comparison photos feature only two nails.

I managed to capture a shot as the colour was morphing from blue to purple, and was at the indigo stage.

I used two not-so-thin coats for this swatch. Luckily it did not bubble on me. No top coat but it dried shiny.

I find that the polish looks very rich at the purple stage, which I liked more than the blue stage. As such, here’s a closer look at the purple.

I have just one more Blaze lacquer to show you, and that is from the Glitze on Madison series. Look out for it in two days’ time!
