Leighton Denny Corrector Liquid

When we make a mistake when writing, we can use an eraser, correction fluid, or correction tape. What happens when we make a mistake or a mess when applying nail polish? Some people use nail polish remover on cotton swabs or orange wood sticks, while others scratch it off in the shower.

Enter the Leighton Denny Corrector Liquid.

The Leighton Denny Corrector Liquid is meant for easy clean-up of the smile line for French manicures as well as bits of nail polish that ends up on the skin/cuticle.

It comes in a 12ml bottle with an accompanying brush. The main ingredient is acetone, so it is basically some form of nail polish remover (wouldn’t have expected otherwise, actually).

What I love is the brush. Dip it into the liquid and brush it across the part you want to clean up. I find that it removes unwanted bits of polish very effectively. Just wipe the brush on a piece of facial tissue and it is good to be used again. This beats the art brushes and eye shadow brushes I have been trying out for this same purpose.

The Leighton Denny Corrector Liquid has just become my new best friend when painting my nails.

  • From feelunique.com. It's a UK site but they have free international shipping. Costs £9 a bottle. Then again, I've probably spent about that amount trying to find the best clean-up brush.

  • I just use some painting brush I got at Daiso and pure acetone. It does the same job though yours looks so much more atas and chic! (:

  • Hi Melissa! Before I got this, I used either an art brush or eyeshadow brush with remover. Didn't always worked nicely. The brush with this set works as it was designed for this purpose. I don't use pure acetone as it is very drying. My hands are dry enough already. :p
