After being impressed by 505 and 528 the other day, I was really eager to try the other Ozotic colours I had purchased. I started with the other multi-chrome, 506, which shifts from a bright blue through a pinkish tinge, to purple.
And in the midst of swatching this, my second order from Picture Polish (Australia) arrived, so there are more Ozotic as well as Picture Polish nail lacquers I have to try.
Now, the Ozotic multi-chromatic lacquers are meant to be layered over black polish. This time, I decided to also try it without the black base as well as with a different coloured base.
First, this is a shot of the bottle. At first glace, the blue in it makes it look similar to 505, but 506 does not contain green.
Under flash, the bottle shows mainly a bright blue. You can see a purplish tinge around the edges though.
The other colour I chose as a base was China Glaze Adore, a metallic cyan blue from the Romantique collection.
This is how 506 looks with natural lighting indoors and with flash. From left to right, I used two coats of Ozotic 506 over just base coat, over OPI Black Onyx, and over China Glaze Adore.
As seen over just base coat, Ozotic 506 has a sheer greyish base with shimmer that shows a bright blue under flash. The blue does lean towards cyan.
The rest of the photos show Ozotic 506 at different angles and under different light conditions. The details of the lighting are in the captions.
I hope these photos show the chameleon effect of the Ozotic multi-chromatic nail lacquers better than those in my previous post. Watch out for other posts on my two Ozotic and Picture Polish hauls!
