Ozotic Mish Mash 532

OzoticMishMash 532-5

Here is the second of the four Ozotic Mish Mash lacquers – 532. This is probably my favourite of the series, very much because it is such a chameleon, and looks quite different depending on the base colour used.

For those who have not heard of the Ozotic Mish Mash series, the lacquers in this series are holographic multi-chromatic ones.

Ozotic 532 is the holographic version of Ozotic 505. The colours in it are green, blue, and pink. However, unlike with 505, I found the blue to be more prominent in 532, as compared to the strong green flash in 505.

Here are the bottle shots first. In this first one, there is prominent holographic flashes in a blue-green polish.

In this next one, part of the polish looks reddish.

Without flash, the polish looks quite different in the bottle.

As with my swatch of 531, I applied 532 over three different bases: just a base coat; OPI Black Onyx: and Essie Playa del Platinum, a greige creme.

I used three coats of 532 for each, with no top coat. It dries with a smooth, shiny finish.

See how different the polish looks over different bases, although the holographic and multi-chromatic effects remain strong.

I like the pretty, subtle look over clear base, where the pink is the strongest of the three. It looks more blue over the black base. Over the greige base, it is still more blue that over the clear base, but it is a lot softer.

Just looking at the photos, it would be unbelievable that all three are of the same polish. Yet, they are! Definitely something worth experimenting with. Or simply change the look with a different colour base. Multiple looks for the price of one polish!

A couple more photos at different angles. I was not able to capture a strong green flash though.

Stay tuned for the other two lacquers of the Mish Mash series!
