Orly Rococo A-Go-Go

Orly Rococo A-Go-Go

I only got two colours from Orly’s 2011 Mineral FX collection. Other than Rock Solid, I got Rococo A-Go-Go.

When I first received this in the mail, my first thought was that it looked so much like Space Cadet, I felt cheated. I had expected it to be a deep and sparkly purple. Instead, it looked like the multi-chromatic Space Cadet in the bottle. Thankfully, my first impression was proven wrong.

Orly Rococo A-Go-Go is more magenta than purple. It is a very rich colour. There is a reddish/burnt orange micro glitter in it, which gives it a duochrome effect in the bottle. You can see it in the photo without flash.

That duochrome-y look didn’t translate to the nails but that’s no matter, because this was the colour I was expecting to see in the first place!

I used three coats although two would be enough for opaque coverage. I didn’t use a top coat and you can see how shiny it already is.

In these photos with flash, you can see more clearly that Orly Rococo A-Go-Go is a glowing, jewel-like colour. I’m in love with the richness of the colour!

One more photo just because it is so gorgeous!
