Rescue Beauty Lounge Look Rich Be Cheap and Locavore

Rescue Beauty Lounge is not exactly known for glitters. They have more cremes and shimmers. Look Rich Be Cheap and Locavore are two of their only glitters. Both have very sparkly glitter of vibrant colours. They are definitely worth checking out!
I had intended to try a glitter sandwich with these two glitters, so I used two jelly lacquers as a base colour. I selected Nfu Oh JS12 for Look Rich Be Cheap and Rescue Beauty Lounge’s own Square Pants for Locavore. Sorry but I did not take photos of the two jellies on their own.
And here are Look Rich Be Cheap and Locavore.
Rescue Beauty Lounge Look Rich Be Cheap is a clear base with largely greenish-gold/chartreuse glitter with a scattering of purple glitter.
This is a close-up of the glitter in the bottle.
I swatched two coats of the glitter over base coat and one coat of Nfu Oh JS12 respectively. I didn’t use a top coat. The glitter is neither very dense nor very sparse.
These glitters were hard to photograph because of all the reflection. As such, I had very few usable photos, so I can’t show you more swatch photos.
Locavore was one of the colours re-released under a Bring it Back event in 2011. It is more colourful that Look Rich Be Cheap.
In the close-up pic, you can see the predominant glitter colour is a grassy green, with a generous scattering of fuchsia and blue glitter.
As with Look Rich Be Cheap, I applied two coats of the glitter over base coat and one coat of Square Pants respectively. The ring finger is slightly blurred, which shows more of the sparkles.
I didn’t like how the glitter sandwich turned out, so I’m not showing pics of them. An additional coat of jelly polish overly dulls the glitter. Not particularly impressed with the result. I will need to play around with the glitter sandwich idea more to know what works better. If you have any tips, I hope you can share them. Thanks in advance!

While I adore RBL polish-I just am not a glitter fan!

These are pretty glitters!! I don't really have much advice for glitter sandwiches. I think you just have to find the right jelly and glitter combo by trial and error. I do find that larger glitter tend to show up better in the sandwich. Not sure if that helps any :/

I like some bling on my nails though I don't fancy the removal

I agree about the larger glitter. The ones in these two are all small. I have to say they aren't too exciting in the light of the 3D glitters we have been seeing.
