piCture pOlish Kryptonite and Mirage

Hot on the heels of my post on piCture pOlish Amethyst (by Star Trinkets), I present to you the two Collaboration Shades piCture pOlish did with bloggers. The shades are Kryptonite by More Nail Polish, and Mirage by Sara Hassan’s Blog.

Many of you would probably have seen More Nail Polish’s own post of Kryptonite, She does such fantastic swatches and already got many people drooling about this green jelly with scattered holo particles. This is basically a deep green version of piCture pOlish Monroe. The holo particles are also basically the same as the ones found in the Ozotic 600 series.

While the base is a jelly, the polish was opaque in two coats. It applied easily and dried smooth and shiny. No top coat used in my photos. All photos are with flash.

So, want some super human nails?

Next, we have piCture pOlish Mirage by Sara Hassan’s Blog. This polish is similar to the Ozotic duochromes (700 series). The base colour is a sheer silvery grey, and it has colour-shifting shimmer. It looks mostly green or aqua blue, and there’s a subtle tinge of pink at some angles. Now you see it, now you don’t! A mirage, indeed!

Like many multi-chromatic, the colour shifting effects are best seen over a dark base polish. I swatched two coats of Mirage on its on on one finger and over a black creme on the other for comparison. All photos were taken indoors in natural light as flash was too strong for its soft base colour.

On its own, Mirage has an oyster shell-like quality.
