Ozotic Scatter Chrome 915
I shared with you Ozotic Scatter Chrome 912 on Tuesday. I wore that polish on my left hand. On my right, I wore Ozotic Scatter Chrome 915. As with 912, this has a base that is at least duochrome, although it’s more like multi-chrome to me. In addition, there is a generous spread of scattered holo particles to give it a rainbow sparkle!

Hot on the heels of the new Sugar and Beam ranges, Ozotic recently unveiled yet another new range, Scatter Chrome. When piCture pOlish first shared a bottle pic of the shades, my first reaction was that they looked multi-chrome. While piCture pOlish said they’re not, the two I’ve tried so far – 912 and 915 – are definitely at least duochrome, if not multi-chrome! In addition, the unique thing of this range is the addition of Ozotic’s signature scattered holo that looks flake-like.
Today, I’ll share with you Ozotic 912, a shade that is mainly violet but also shifts to pink, brown, orange, and gold. The effects may not be as dramatic as shades like Ozotic 505, but the colour is definitely not a static one!

I’ve posted on two Ozotic duochromes – 745 and 751 – previously, and showed how they can look subtly or even dramatically different when layered over different base colours. Today, I have another Ozotic duochrome – 746 – to show you. This is easily one of my favourites from this range.
Ozotic 746 has a almost-magenta pink base with a shimmer that flashes mainly light blue, but shifts subtly to silver at some angles. I took so many photos of it that I had a hard time selecting which to show in this post.

The promotional pictures of the China Glaze Bohemian collection caused quite a stir among the nail polish community. The local girls I chat with regularly were even planning to get the whole collection when it was released. Once the first swatches started appearing, however, there was a general sense of disappointment.
As it turns out, the duochrome effects did not seem as prominent as the promo pics suggested. And for a discerning crowd that has seen the likes of brands like Ozotic, the Bohemian collection really does not seem to be anything to write home about. One did attract me though, not so much for the duochrome effect that was hardly there, but for its colour. Deviantly Daring, after all, is a beautiful metallic teal.

I haven’t written a proper post for a while. Been keeping busy.
Now that I’ve registered Star Trinkets as a business in Singapore, I want a proper online shopfront. After shopping around, I’ve decided that my best option now is still to build my own. I’m a noob at building an e-commerce site but I’ve had lots of advice and guidance from very experienced and helpful people. There’s a steep learning curve there and a lot to be done, but I think there’s a good chance I can do it.
In addition, the sudden sale of the to-be-discontinued Ozotic 500 series has also kept me busy, collating requests from ladies in Singapore (no men yet), ordering stocks, and then packing and mailing off the orders when they arrive.
Speaking of Ozotic, today’s post is on two of their duochromes, the 700 series. Recently, the ladies at piCture pOlish posted photos of the duochromes swatched over black and white. Many of them look really different over different base colours. I decided to try the two duochromes I have – 745 and 751 – to see how they’ll look over different colours.
