Cult Nails Mazo and Orly Au Champagne

If you follow me on Facebook or Twitter, you may have seen one of my recent messages regarding the lack of posts these past couple of weeks. I’m sorry for the silence, especially if you have been looking out for a new post. Basically, I am in a transition period at work now. As such, I’ve been focusing on finishing up the tasks I have on hand, as well as putting in place some things for the next phase. In fact, this past week, I did not even set aside time to paint my nails!

Anyway, I just received my order of the new Cult Nails collection, Let’s Get Nekkid, this week, and I wanted to try some of the colours immediately. Uncharacteristically, I did not opt for the amazing Toxic Seaweed first. Instead, I decided to do a simple French manicure with Mazo. For the tips, I went with Orly Au Champagne, a soft, shimmery white.

I’ve been trying to do a French-manicure variation look recently, but kept failing to get it right. This time, finally, I think I’ve figured out how to get it to work. I shall not bore you with the technical details. If anyone is interested, just leave me a comment. The purpose of this post is just to share with my little accomplishment.
