9 Aug is Singapore’s National Day and, this year, we celebrate 47 years of independence from the British. To think we have been self-governing for less than half a century and we’ve already come so far! Happy birthday, Singapore!
As with last year, I decided to do a National Day mani. I was quite lost for ideas when Painting Outside the Lines posted a pic-torial (a tutorial using pictures) of the Lava Lamp, or interlocking, mani on Instagram. I’ve been thinking of trying this and her pic-torial made it look so easy. It also seemed perfect for the national colours of red and white, which I figured would make a great contrast for this nail art.
I decided to post this one day before National Day in case anyone was looking for some inspiration for their own mani. After all, last year, there were people who visited my blog after searching for National Day mani.Continue reading»
